A Night of Mindfulness, Movement, and Connection: Highlights from Our VIP Experience
The evening felt like a retreat tucked into the heart of the everyday. Guests arrived to the aroma of our Ayurvedic-inspired buffet, welcomed by the glow of candlelight and the soft hum of warm conversation. They were invited to slow down from the moment they stepped in…beginning with a mindful meal designed to comfort, nourish, and delight.
A Journey Through the Evening
🌿 Mindful Dining to Begin
Our menu was thoughtfully curated to bring warmth and nourishment to the start of the fall evening. Guests gathered to enjoy:

Butternut Squash Soup – a creamy seasonal favorite

Sweet Potato & Apple Soup – a subtly sweet, earthy pairing

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup – cozy and comforting

Stuffed Bell Peppers – hearty, flavorful, and satisfying
For appetizers, we served fresh guacamole with chips and hummus with pita chips—perfect for mingling as conversations sparked. We ended the meal with a taste of autumn: mini pumpkin pies and pumpkin “cookie dough” bites that added just the right sweet finish (and no refined sugars!).
Sharing this meal together helped guests leave the bustle of the day behind and ease into a night of presence and connection.
🌳 Yoga Under the Tree at Sunset
After dinner, we moved outside into an open green lawn beneath a large, graceful tree. The late-day sun dipped lower as a gentle breeze drifted across the grass, carrying away the last heat of the day.
Here, Gabrielle Foley, LCSW-RYT-200, guided everyone through a restorative yoga practice. The combination of grass underfoot, the rustling leaves overhead, and the evening air brought a sense of grounding that can’t be recreated indoors.
By the time yoga concluded, candles were glowing softly around the lawn, creating a warm transition toward the final chapter of the evening.
đź’« Sound Healing Poolside with Guided Meditation
The group then made their way to the pool, now surrounded by a soft golden glow from lanterns and candles reflecting off the water. Some guests reclined on mattresses laid out near the pool’s edge, wrapped in cozy blankets, while others chose to float peacefully on mattresses in the pool itself…a unique way to experience relaxation.
As the stars emerged above, Sarah from Immersive Sound began a sound-healing session paired with a guided meditation, filling the night with the resonant tones of crystal bowls. The vibrations rippled across the water and into the air, weaving with the breeze to create an atmosphere of deep calm and inner stillness.
Many shared afterward that this moment felt transformative…like a gentle letting-go of stress they didn’t realize they’d been carrying. They also mentioned achieving deep sleep that evening after returning home which carried over a sense of calm to the next day.
Why We Created This Experience
At Living Mindfully, LLC, our mission has always been to offer more than traditional talk therapy. We believe in creating immersive experiences that nurture both mind and body—blending therapy-informed coaching, mindful movement, nourishing meals, and partnering with others for restorative practices like sound healing.
This VIP evening was a reflection of that mission: a chance to step away from the rush of daily life and into a space of presence, connection, and restoration.
